I just finished Clapton: The Autobiography last week, which was fucking annoying. Eric Clapton is a fucking douchebag! You can write that in this article. Douchebag! I’m gonna take Eric Clapton apart right now! That book is really—it’s a long list of the drugs he took and the incredible women he slept with. He couldn’t just sleep with one; he had to have three or four at a time. He was married to one beautiful girl, and sleeping with two or three others, and getting harder and harder into heroin addiction. He was so young and beautiful and rich and famous and talented that he had to take a lot of heroin to deal with it. About a quarter of the way through the book, I thought it was like the Mötley Crüe bio [The Dirt]. I had to put it down; it was too annoying. Eric, give me a fucking break. I love him, but I hate him.
